A wizard is now available for creating API definitions for behavioral anomaly detection.
Previously, to protect an endpoint, an API definition had to be created manually on the API Definitions page. Now, this is possible in the Bot Manager user interface via a new wizard available in the “Bot Detection Methods (Behavioral)” area.

The “Allow” action’s description has been updated.
Previously, the “Allow” action’s description read “Log request, halt further evaluation, and bypass Network Layer, Rate Controls and Reputation.” This was inaccurate, as only rate controls and client reputation are bypassed. The description has been updated.
The “Disable” action for bot categories has been renamed “Skip.”
To alleviate confusion, the “Disable” action for all bot categories has been renamed “Skip,” the selection of which causes client requests to skip the category and move to the next evaluation. Any current security configurations with categories using “Disable” will automatically be changed to the “Skip” action.
2016-09-01
A new dimension, User Agent, has been added to Security Center’s Bot Analysis view.
The User Agent dimension displays the top user agents used by bots that have triggered Bot Manager detection.
2016-06-01
Bot Analysis filters now support a new “starts with” match on the URL dimension
This enhancement allows you to create filters on the URL dimension that match a “starts with” condition. This is helpful if you would like to filter the contents of pages that begin with the match condition (e.g., “www.example.com/prod”) or of an entire subdirectory (e.g., “www.example.com/product/”).

Notifications are now sent when new rules and/or Akamai-categorized bots are added.
These notifications appear on the Security Configuration management and Bot Manager pages.
An “Action” column has been added to the Bot Analysis Dimensions displays.
This consists of checkboxes and menus, allowing for selection of multiple entries and application of a menu option:
Add selected entries to the filter
Exclude selected entries from the results
Add items to a network list (If appropriate, KSD customers only)
Bot Analysis Dimensions now display up to 2500 entries, and their CSV downloads include up to 10000 entries.
Bot Manager And Kona Site Defender (Multiple Security Configurations Customers Only)
Changes have been made to the Security Configurations page.
Pagination is now implemented; 10 security configurations are displayed per page, and pagination controls are available at page bottom.
Inactive security configurations can now be hidden from view using an “Inactive configurations (#): Shown/Hidden” toggle added at the top, right-hand corner of the page. The “Shown” position displays all configurations; the “Hidden” position hides configurations not act- ive on either the Edge Staging or Production networks.
By default, the page is now sorted by the security configuration name column in ascending order.
