Test a configuration overview

The steps required to test a configuration with Akamai Test Center.

Before you begin

Akamai Test Center can be used to test changes to configuration settings, before the configuration is activated to serve live traffic, to help you better judge the safety of your configuration changes.

To test a configuration change with Akamai Test Center, you run one or more test definitions. Each test definition that you run must contain at least one test case. Akamai Test Center makes comparisons based on the test definitions and test cases you select, along with your run settings. The steps below outline the high-level overview of how to test a configuration change with Akamai Test Center. See the links for more details on how to complete each step.
