Configure the API Prioritization behavior
In Property Manager, behaviors apply certain features to your configuration. Behaviors help shape how requests passing through the Akamai network are handled and processed.
Access Property Manager
configurations associated with the selected Control Center account. Go to

The Property Groups page opens.
- Select the property and version you want to add your Cloudlet to.
- Click Add Behavior, then select API Prioritization.
Complete the following fields:
Field Action Enable Set to On. Policy Name Select an existing Cloudlets policy to use with this behavior. You create policies in Cloudlets Policy Manager. Instance Label Enter the label to use to distinguish this API Prioritization policy from others in the same property. Track Requests Sent Alternate Response Set to On to use a Content Provider (CP) code to track requests served the alternate response. Alternate Response CP Code If you're tracking requests sent an alternate response, either enter an existing CP code or create a new one to track these requests. Alternate Status Code Select whether a throttled request should use a specific HTTP response code. Alternate Response HTTP Status Code Select the HTTP response code you want to serve for requests that receive the alternate response. HTTP code 200 (OK) is the default. NetStorage Select the NetStorage domain that contains the alternate response. Alternate Response Path and File Name Enter the full NetStorage path of the alternate response page, including the file name. Alternate Response Cache TTL (min) Select a time between 5 and 30 minutes that the alternate response will reside in cache. This time period is known as the time to live (TTL) The default is five minutes.
- Click Save.
- Activate the newly updated property.
