Switching Tenants and Using Tenant Folders (Tenant Admin Only)
A tenant is a segregated area within a CloudTest environment. You can think of it as a domain on a network. Tenants are not aware of each other. The only resources that may be shared between tenants are Maestros/Load Generators. A CloudTest server can have as many Tenants as the hardware the CloudTest server is deployed on can support. Tenant Administration is a separate privilege but intersects with User Administration tasks. Tenant Admins can create or modify tenants, while User Admins can add users to an existing tenant (to which the User Admin has rights)
Tenant Admins with access to more than one tenant can switch between those tenants by clicking the Tenant link in the top-right of CloudTest.
Tenants can be nested into folders for those users with multiple tenants. To create a tenant folder, right-click in the Central > Tenants lis and chose the New Folder command. Drag tenants in the Tenants list into the desired folder location.
When you do so, the New Folder dialog box appears. Enter the name and click OK to continue.
The list of relevant tenants drops down.
The Change Tenants dialog box appears. Click Search to find the tenant to switch to, or expand the folder to find it listed. Enter the password for the super-user account on the given tenant and click OK.
