Asynchronous updates

Asynchronous updates for global properties improves load times and scaling capabilities for users.

Before you begin

By default, global properties are synchronized, which is beneficial for users who want to specify the order in which events occur in the system. However, this synchronization can lead to stress and slow load times in some cases. Asynchronous updates provide faster load times and higher scaling potential for users.

How to

  1. On the Cloud Test homepage, select Global Properties from the list on the left panel.
  2. The list of global properties opens:
    1. To enable asynchronous updates for an existing global property - select a global property to edit and click the check box to turn on asynchronous updates.
    2. To create a new global property and enable asynchronous updates for it - click the plus button to create a new global property and click the check box to turn on asynchronous updates.
  3. Click OK to save your changes.
