Clients overview

You can use the Clients tab to get a look at data such as the number of clients, applications, and other data.

There are many applications used by the employees of your company associated with the EAA Client. The EAA administrator can get a snapshot view of the total number of clients, applications, and users of the organization. You can also get statistics about the most frequently accessed five applications, and the operating systems used by the users.

The CLIENTS count is the total number of EAA Client installations on all the laptops and mobile devices of the organization. If a user has two devices like a Windows laptop and a MAC laptop, and EAA Client is installed on both machines, then the CLIENTS count is 2, although it is one user. The USERS count is the total number of users using the client-access applications.

Note: Your EAA Preset reports show a different count for unique users since that includes all other applications like web-apps, RDP apps, SSH apps, and SaaS applications,
Note: When the EAA Client is upgraded to 2.1.0 or later releases, devices will be associated with a new device ID (akamai-device-id). The EAA Client Overview dashboard includes the old device ID (akamai-device-id) resulting in inaccurate statistics until the old device ID is purged after 90 days. You can check the EAA Client version by opening the EAA Client on your laptop (device). Also see Device ID update with EAA Client installation and upgrades
