Download and install the EAA Client on Mac systems

Download the EAA Client to a Mac system.

Before you begin

Confirm that your environment meets the system and network requirements.

On Mac systems, you may need to change the Apple Security and Privacy setting to Allow apps downloaded from Apple Store and identified developers.

How to

  1. Go to, the IdP URL created to connect to applications.
    You may be prompted to authenticate using single sign-on (SSO).
  2. Click Download EAA Client.
  3. By default, the Login Portal provides you with the download option for your machine’s operating system. In this example it is Mac OS.

    Note: If you already have the EAA Client installed on another portal, when this page appears click the blue Configure button to reset the client for the current portal. An authentication succeeded message appears indicating that you have installed the client.
  4. Click Download for Mac OS to download the EAA Client installer.
  5. When prompted by your browser, save the download.
  6. Go to the location where you saved the EAA Client package file. It will be a EAAClient-<version>-osx-installer.dmg file.
  7. Double-click the file to begin the installation. After few seconds, you see a pop-up. Click on the text, as shown in this figure.

  8. After the install completes, the EAA Client icon appears on your toolbar.
