Disable or enable forward proxy through EAA Client Settings window

Learn to temporarily disable and enable a forward proxy from EAA Client traffic.

End users might want to temporarily disable forward proxy, while they receive the proxy credentials from the organization's administrator.

How to

  2. Click EAA Client icon > Open EAA Client.
  3. Click Options.
  4. If the admin has enabled forward proxy while installing EAA Client, you will see the Proxy tile in Advanced enabled. Turn off the radio button next to Proxy till you receive the proxy credentials from the administrator.

Note: To disable the proxy service, you can Cancel. In the next dialog box, Disable proxy, click Yes. This also turns off the radio button next to Proxy. The network traffic inside EAA Client Settings window will be indicated as Network: Public
  7. After the proxy authentication process completes successfully, the network traffic inside EAA Client Settings window will be indicated as Network: Public (using Proxy) or Network: On-premises (using Proxy).
