Upgrade the connector for the directory

Add the new connector for the directory. Remove the old connector from the directory.

This procedure shows how to upgrade to the new connector and remove the old connector from the directory.

How to

  1. Log in to the EAA Management Portal as an administrator.
  2. From the top menu bar, click Identity > Directories.
  3. Select the directory for which you want to add the new connector and click Configure Directory (gear icon)
  4. In the Connector section, click Add or remove connector.
  5. Select the new connector you want to add to the directory. Click Done.
  6. Click Save Directory. Wait for three to five minutes for the changes to propagate to the connector.
    Note: There is no indication in the UI that the change is finished.
  7. Verify that it works by logging into the directory.
  8. Go back to the directory for which you added the new connector and click Configure Directory (gear icon)
  9. In the Connector section, click Add or remove connector.
  10. Deselect the old connector you want to remove from the directory. Click Done.
  11. Click Save Directory. Wait for three to five minutes for the changes to propagate to the connector.
  12. Verify that it works by logging into the directory.
