Upgrade the connector for the application

Replace an old connector with a new connector for your application.

This procedure shows how to upgrade to the new connector and remove the old connector from the application

How to

  1. Log in to the EAA Management Portal as an administrator.
  2. From the top menu bar, click Applications.
  3. Select the application for which you want to add the new connector and click Settings.
  4. Click the GENERAL tab.
  5. Scroll down to the Location section and click Add or remove connector.
  6. Select the new connector you want to associate with the application. Click Done.
  7. Click Save and go to authentication, to save the changes.
  8. Click DEPLOYMENT tab.
  9. Click Deploy Application. It takes three to five minutes for the deployment process to finish. When deployment in complete, you will see the screen with Application status: Application successfully deployed.
  10. Verify the application works by logging into the application.
  11. Go back to the application for which you added the new connector and click Settings.
  12. Click the GENERAL tab.
  13. Scroll down to the Location section and click Add or remove connector.
  14. Deselect the old connector you want to remove the application. Click Done.
  15. Click Save and go to authentication, to save the changes.
  16. Click DEPLOYMENT tab.
  17. Click Deploy Application. It takes three to five minutes for the deployment process to finish. When deployment in complete, you will see the screen with Application status: Application successfully deployed.
  18. Verify the application works by logging into the application and checking different operations. if it does not work, check connectivity to the application using the new connector.
