Block users from accessing applications associated with an identity provider

You can quickly block users from accessing applications associated with an identity provider.

The administrator can block a user, some or all users from an identity provider (IdP) in EAA management portal. This blocks the users access to applications associated with the identity provider. But, users can still access other applications associated with a different identity provider.

How to

  1. Log in to the Enterprise Application Access (EAA) Management Portal.
  2. From the top menu bar, select Identity > Identity Providers.
  3. Locate the IdP card you want to block the user from.
  4. Click the Block Users icon ().
  5. Select the directory the user belongs to.
  6. To block one user:
    1. Locate the user from the Username column, and click Actions > Block User
    2. Verify user details are correct and click Block.
    3. A red symbol () appears next to the blocked user.
  7. To block multiple users:
    1. Select the users from the Username column.
    2. Click Block Users button. Verify the details of all the users you want to block in the dialog box.
    3. Click Block. A red symbol () appears next to all the blocked users.
  8. To block all users:
    1. Double click the Username title. A check mark appears next to all the usernames.
    2. Click Block Users button. Verify the details of all the users you want to block in the dialog box.
    3. Click Block. A red symbol () appears next to all the blocked users.
