Troubleshoot connectors
Learn more about how to make sure your connectors are ready and reachable.
To learn more about installation requirements and how to create, download, install,
and approve connectors in different environments see Connectors. Some common problems you might encounter include:
- Connector deployment. The deployment of your EAA connector from the virtual machine (VM) can fail. For a list of supported
virtual machine (VM) software versions see Connector-to-VM and cloud platform compatibility matrix. To troubleshoot:
- Deploy a VMware vSphere Client using ESX or ESXi version 6.5 or later
- Deploy a VMware vSphere Client using ESX or ESXi versions earlier than 6.5
- Troubleshoot the VMware ESXi error: Failed to deploy VM: postNFCData failed
- Troubleshoot the VMware ESXi error: VMware ESXi Embedded Host Client compressed disk image error
- Troubleshoot an Amazon Web Services connector
- Connector connectivity. The connection between your EAA connector and application may fail, making the application
unreachable. To troubleshoot:
- Check connector connectivity in the connector console
- Check for a connector that is unreachable
- Review the Common reasons for connector check-in failure
- Enable or disable remote debugging for a connector
- Test connector connectivity to applications with troubleshooting tools
- Run a connector troubleshooting utility
