Login Portal languages

Learn more about translating text in the EAA Login Portal UI.

An Enterprise Application Access (EAA) administrator can configure the text that appears in the Login Portal’s welcome banner, page title, legal disclaimer, and username hint, password change label and new user signup label field. EAA supports text in English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and Polish. The page title field is the name that appears the browser tab, when user clicks on the login portal page.

The Login Portal communicates with the end user’s browser to determine the language to display. If this language is not configured in EAA for the Login Portal, the language and the text provided for the primary language appears in the Login Portal.

You can configure multiple languages for these Login Portal elements. You can also select a primary or default language to display.

In this example, an administrator has configured the Login Portal with the English, German and Spanish languages.

The following applies:
  • The Login Portal communicates with the user’s browser to determine the language to display. If the browser language is not available, the Login Portal shows content in the language that is set as the primary or default language.
  • If one language is configured, this language is considered the primary language.
  • If no languages are configured for the Login Portal, the welcome banner, page title, legal disclaimer, username hint, password change label, and new user signup label appears in English.

This shows the areas on the Login Portal that are customized as a result of this operation. The Login Portal has been customized in German, English, and Spanish. However, the Login Portal appears in the default language (in this case, Spanish).
