Filter data based on date and time

Using Enterprise Threat Protector, you can filter data on the dashboard, as well as on the event and activity reports.

You can show events or activity from this month or from the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. You can also show events or activity that occurred at a specific time of day by entering start and end times in a 24-hour clock format.

How to

  1. To filter events on the Dashboard, from the navigation menu, select Monitoring > Dashboard.
    Note: If you are trying the new Enterprise Center interface, in the navigation menu, select Dashboard.
  2. To filter events on the Event Analysis page, from the navigation menu, select Monitoring > Events.
    Note: If you are trying the new Enterprise Center interface, in the navigation menu, select Threat Analytics > Events. Select the event type.
  3. To filter traffic on the Activity page, from the navigation menu, select Monitoring > Activity.
    Note: If you are trying the new Enterprise Center interface, in the navigation menu, select Threat Analytics > Activity. Select the activity report.
  4. To filter events or activity that occurred in the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or this month, click the calendar icon or the date range. Select one of these options:
    • Last 24 hours
    • Last 7 days
    • This Month
    • Last 30 days
  5. To filter by a specific date and time range:
    1. If you haven’t done so already, click the calendar icon or the date range.
      A calendar appears.
    2. Select the first date and then the last date of your range.
      To specify a specific time, enter the start and end time in a 24-hour clock format.
    3. Click Apply. The events or activity that occurred within that time period appear.
