Configure an app configuration policy in Microsoft Endpoint Manager

Before you begin

Make sure you have the entitlement code. For more information, see View entitlement code.

How to

  1. In the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center, click App and then click App configuration policies.
  2. Click +Add > Managed apps.
  3. Enter a name and description for the policy.
  4. Click +Select public apps and do the following:
    1. Select the platform.
    2. Search for ETP Client app, and select it.
    3. Click Select.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the General configuration settings, enter the entitlement code:
    1. In the Name field, enter entitlementCode.
    2. In the Value field, enter the entitlement code value that you copied from ETP.
    3. Click Next.
  7. Select the group that you want to include or exclude from this configuration, and click Next.
  8. Review the information for the policy and click Create. The configuration now applies to the selected app.
