Rotate entitlement code

If you believe the entitlement code that you or IT administrator use to install ETP Client was stolen or leaked to an unauthorized party, you can generate a new code in Enterprise Threat Protector. This code is required in all new installations of ETP Client.

Rotating the code does not affect current installations of ETP Client. However, if you use a script, installation package, or machine image to perform the installation, you must update the entitlement code in the process that you use for the installation.

How to

  1. In the navigation menu, select Configuration > Utilities. Click the ETP Client tab.
Note: If you are trying the new Enterprise Center interface, in the navigation menu, select Clients & Connectors > ETP Client.
  2. On the ETP Client tab, click the refresh button that is associated with the entitlement code field. A confirmation message appears.
  3. Click Yes. A message appears to indicate the operation was triggered. Wait five minutes before using the code in a new ETP Client installation.
