Watermark/Composite

Allows you to specify an image, text, or a shape to overlay or underlay your original image.

The component that is over or underneath is visible in areas that are beyond the edges of the top component or that are less than 100% opaque. A common use of an overlay image composite is to add a watermark.

For more information review the Add a Watermark recipe in the Image and Video Manager Cookbook. This recipe shows how designers can define the position of the image used as the watermark in relation to the original image. Review the Add a Text Overlay to an Image recipe to add a crystal sharp text overlay to an image and adjust the placement of the text.

If you add the IMQuery transformation to a policy, use the im variable, and select Composite, you can use a query string to specify an image, text, or a shape to overlay or underlay your original image using this policy. See Syntax and Examples for the syntax for the query string parameter.
