Change your site requirements

Once you leave the site requirements page, your selections are set, and your property's configuration is saved. The only item that you can go back and change is the domain's alias.

If you're not satisfied with the information, delete that property's configuration from the Akamai production network and create a new one.

Note: The property's configuration that you want to delete must either be active in Preview and Test or already live (have a CNAME) on the Akamai production network.

How to

  1. If the property that you want to delete is live on the Akamai production network (meaning a CNAME record points to your edge hostname), replace that CNAME record with a DNS record that points directly to your origin web server. Otherwise, proceed with the next step.
  2. From OCA, click Exit. The property's landing page appears.
  3. Under Edit Configuration, select Deactivate. The deactivation takes about an hour to complete. You'll receive an email when it's done.
  4. Open the email, and select the property. The property's landing page appears.
  5. Click Delete.
