Configure the request type marker behavior

Use this behavior to mark the type of client requests coming to the OTA domains as campaign server or download. You can configure the request type marker behavior in a custom rule to define match criteria for the selected marker. For example, you can mark incoming requests based on the presence or absence of a specific HTTP request header, query string parameter, or HTTP response status.

Based on the defined marker, requests are logged in aggregated and individual vehicle reports or in an individual vehicle report only.

How to

  1. Access Property Manager configurations associated with the selected Control Center account. Go to > CDN > Properties (or just enter Properties in the search box).
    The Property Groups page opens.
  2. Click the Property Name link for your property.
  3. On the Property Details page, click the Version of your configuration that you want to access in Manage Versions and Activations.
  4. On the Property Manager Editor page, configure a custom rule for the request type marker in Property Configuration Settings.

  5. In Behaviors of the custom rule, add the Request Type Marker behavior.
  6. From Marker, select the marker that you want to use for the match criteria defined in the custom rule.
