Encoder guidelines for HTTP ingest
You can ingest your content using the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) or Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP). HTTP is simple to use and cost-effective. However, it lacks intellectual property (IP) protection. RTMP is a special protocol for real-time server applications ranging from instant messaging to collaborative data sharing to video streaming.
The various HTTP ingest formats are HLS, HDS, DASH, and CMAF.
