Primary and backup HLS streams

Publish HLS streaming content to primary and backup locations.

To avoid interruptions in the distributed system, encoders should publish the same stream content to primary and backup locations.

Encoders should enable you to manipulate the publishing hostname and path for a stream. They should enable you to publish with a relative path as well as an absolute path. Encoders should be able to input primary and backup publishing and playback hostnames and primary and backup paths for a given stream. The same content should be simultaneously published to primary and backup paths.

The primary URL syntax is p-ep<streamid>

The backup URL syntax is b-ep<streamid>
