HDN1 Live Streaming visitors report

The HD1 Live Streaming Visitors report contains the following information:

  • Unique Visitors per five minutes. Each unique IP address/player ID combination is considered a unique visitor. The graph shows visitors per five minutes for the selected CP code and date. The peak visitors per five minutes are highlighted in the graph.
  • Unique Player IDs per five minutes. The graph shows unique Player IDs per five minutes for the selected CP code and date. The peak player IDs per five minutes are highlighted in the graph.
  • Unique Client IPs per five minutes. The graph shows unique client IP addresses per five minutes for the selected CP code and date. The peak client IP addresses per five minutes are highlighted in the graph.
  • Top 10 Visitors. For the top ten unique IP address/player ID combinations, the following information is provided. Clicking View More Details in a New Window will provide the same information for the top 25 visitors, sorted by hits.
    • Domain / IP. The domain, if known, and the IP address from which the visitor is requesting your content.
    • Player ID. The player with which the visitor is requesting your content.
    • Hits. The number of hits on your content this visitor is producing. This number includes hits on the Edge server from the end user with all response codes.
    • Volume. The amount of bandwidth this visitor is using to request your content. This number includes hits on the Edge server from the end user with all response codes.
  • Operating Systems. The operating systems with which your visitors are accessing your content and the percentage of total hits generated by the operating systems. Click More Details to display a full list with the number of hits and percentage of total hits called out for each operating system.
  • Players. The players with which visitors are accessing your content and the percentage of total hits generated by these players. Click More Details to display a full list with the number of hits and percentage of total hits called out for each player.
  • Average Client Bandwidth, in kbits/sec. The graph shows the average bandwidth used per client for the selected CP code and date. The peak average bandwidth over that time period and the average client bandwidth for the entire time period are highlighted in the graph.
  • Average Buffer Time, in seconds. The graph shows the average buffer time for the selected CP code and date. The peak average buffer time over that time period and the average buffer time for the whole time period are highlighted in the graph.
  • Average Packet Loss. The graph shows the average packet loss as a percentage of total bits delivered from Edge to end user for the selected CP code and date. The peak average packet loss over that time period and the average packet loss for the whole time period are highlighted in the graph.
  • User Locations - Top Ten Countries. The top ten countries from where your traffic is originating. Click View All Countries to display the complete list of countries.
  • User Locations - Top Ten U.S. States. The top ten U.S. states from where your traffic is originating. Click View All States to display the complete list of states.
    Note: The Other USA category in the U.S. States list includes primarily AOL requests, since AOL provides only a country with the IP address of a user, not state-level information.
  • User Locations - Canadian Provinces. The top five Canadian provinces from where your traffic is originating. Click View All Provinces to see the full list of provinces. A full list of possible geography entities that can appear in this list is available under Reference in this help file.
  • Client Languages. This table displays the default languages of the client machines and the percentage of total hits those end users are generating.
