View stream details

You can view details for an individual stream by clicking its name in the list of streams. The resulting HD Flash Live Stream entry point Details page displays a number of pieces of information, including:

  • Stream Name. The name of the selected stream, either alone as it was provisioned or with an ingress stream coming from your encoder if it was selected.
  • Format. The stream’s format.
  • Authentication Type. Authenticated or Non Authenticated. A lock icon indicates that the stream is secure.
  • Primary entry point. The IP address of the primary entry point that is obtaining the stream on Media Services Live and its physical location.
  • Backup entry point. The IP address of the backup entry point that is obtaining the stream on Media Services Live and its physical location.
  • Primary Encoder IP Address. The IP address of the primary encoder broadcasting the stream.
  • Backup Encoder IP Address. The IP address of the backup encoder broadcasting the stream.
  • Egress Bit Rate (provisioned stream name only). A graphical representation of the stream's bit rate from the Edge to the end user over the past 24 hours. You can open this graph in a new window to continuously monitor the stream's bit rate. Use your browser's refresh button to update the graph data. The time period for this graph is determined by the time zone in your user profile.
  • Ingress Bit Rate (ingress stream name only). Graphical representations of the stream bit rates to the primary and backup entry points over the past 24 hours. You can open these graphs in new windows to continuously monitor their bit rates. Use your browser's refresh button to update graph data. The time periods for these graphs is determined by the time zone in your user profile.
