How do I translate my stream times into real-world clock times?
Sometimes it is useful and more meaningful to be able to scrub back to 4:00 p.m. on
Friday, instead of 62:34:12. For live streams and archives of live streams, the class
has a property called
streamStartTime, which is populated after you first call
play; it contains the real
world start time of the stream, in milliseconds, since midnight January 1, 1970, UTC.
This is the time corresponding to time 0 in the stream. So to get the local time
corresponding to 1324 seconds, add 1324000 to
streamStartTime and then
