Using proprietary SFTP clients
You should use secure access when accessing NetStorage with a third-party SFTP client.
Similar to WinSCP, South River Technologies’ WebDrive provides a graphical user interface to access NetStorage using SFTP. It operates at a lower level than WinSCP, however, and provides a remote filesystem so you can access files on NetStorage as if they were on a local or network drive. You can manipulate files using Windows Explorer or a command line. Complete details can be found with this link: http://www.southrivertechnologies.com/products/webdrive/index.html
CuteFTP Client also provides a graphical user interface that can be used to access NetStorage via SFTP. It offers a robust set of additional tools, including a built-in SSH key generator. Complete details can be found with this link: http://www.cuteftp.com/cuteftp/
When using CuteFTP to generate an SSH key, a commercial implementation is used ("ssh.com" format). If you generate keys using CuteFTP, the public key instance must be converted to the OpenSSH format.
