Default

Description

The default match type applies to all incoming requests.

This match type is particularly useful at the end of a rule list. If none of the other rules in the list produce a match, then you can use the default match type to treat the remaining traffic in a particular way.

For example, say you have the Request Control Cloudlet. You have several rules that allow traffic for specific IP addresses and geographies. In this case, you may want a final rule that denies access to all incoming requests that do not match on the previous rules.

Cloudlets Supported

Application Load Balancer, Cloud Marketing, Cloud Marketing Plus, Edge Redirector, Request Control, and Phased Release support this match type.
