View routed map dashboard

For Prolexic routed service users. The Routed Map dashboard displays data from your Prolexic routed service during peacetime and attack conditions, and for post-attack forensics.

The left-hand area of the view shows how each of Akamai’s endpoints (scrubbing centers) receiving inbound traffic connects to each of your endpoints (routers). Each line (tunnel) between the two shows the connection status:
  • Up - Connection Healthy, Traffic Seen for live traffic
  • Inactive - Connection Healthy, No Traffic when ready and standing by
  • Down - Connectivity Not Verifiable when experiencing issues.

On the right you can see of your prefixes (configured subnets/CIDRs) and their statuses. Green dot indicates that a specific network is routed on. Networks marked with a white dot are not routed on, which could be the case if you use Prolexic in an on-demand mode.

Beneath that is an area that displays 24 hours of bandwidth history for any element (endpoints, tunnels, or networks) you select in the other areas. For example, selecting a scrubbing center displays the traffic it’s seen over the last 24 hours, as well as its current data center connections.

During an attack, the view displays total traffic being ingested by the scrubbing network, as well as what is being sent down each of the tunnels or VLL circuits.
