Interface overview

Here you can learn about the interface design.

The interface consists of:
  1. Left menu.

  2. Test objects' tabs:
    • (FT) In the Requirements and Config versions tabs you can create requirements and add config versions respectively and associate them with test suites.
    • (FT) In the Test suites tab you can create test suites and add test cases to them.
    • (FT) In the Test cases tab you can create test cases and check in which test suites they are included.
    • (FT) In the Conditions and Test requests tabs you can create conditions and test requests respectively and check in which test cases they are used. Test objects created in those tabs can be used later during the creation of test cases.
    • (FT) In the Client profiles tab you can check available client profiles and in which test cases they are used.

    • (CT) In the Test definitions tab you can create test definitions and add test cases to them. This tab is available under Comparative testing.
  3. Master list with all test objects of a particular type created in your organization. Here you can:
    • Create a new object.

    • Run a test for multiple items or clone them (the more options menu). You can run test for multiple config versions, test suite, test cases (functional), and test definitions and you can clone test suites and test cases (functional).
Note: This menu appears only after selecting multiple test objects.

  4. The Details section. After you select an item from the master list its details are shown in this section. Here you can:
    • For requirements, config versions, test suites, and test definitions you can use this section to associate other elements.

    • For requirements, config versions, test suites, test cases, and test definitions you can use this section to run a test for a single test object.
