Add and configure config versions
If you want to run a regression test, you need to a config version with the applied config changes to Test Center.
Before you begin
- Go to .
- In the left menu, click Functional testing and then go to Config versions.
To add a config version:
If there is a previous version of the config version added to Test Center, then Test Center creates new test suites with test cases inherited from that previous config version and associates them with the new config version. If there is no previous config version added, Test Center associates the new config version with a default test suite.
- Above the master list, click +.
- From the lists, select the config version you want to add.
- Click Add to list.
To associate more test suites:
Config version is added and configured. You can now run a test for it.
Select the added config version from
the list and in its Details section, click +.
In the Associate test
suites with this config version window, select the test suites you want
Note: Test suites are not shared by requirements and config versions. If a test suite is associated to a requirement, it is not available for selection here. To use the same test suites in both, config version and the requirement, you can use the cloning feature. See Clone multiple test suites.
- Click Save.
- Select the added config version from the list and in its Details section, click +.
